Rix and Zak day 3

A final update as we drive home bringing to an end a journey of over 2000 km, lasting 72 hours and containing only 14 hours of sleep.

Last night we scored big time with Great Grey Owl (lappugle), Ural Owl (slagugle) and Hawk Owl (haukugle) within an hour and a half of each other.
We kept going and had River (elve-) and Grasshopper (gresshoper-) Warbler aswell as Quail (vaktel), Spotted Crake (myrrikse) and Corncrake (åkerrikse).

Finally Ortolans (hortulan) and a singing male hybrid Black Redstart (svartrødstjert) x Redstart (rødstjert) were seen today.

I will in due course come with a detailed report and videos and pictures but right now I am looking forward to home sweet home.
